October 2018

Rather and do a seperate post this month I have uploaded our our October 2018 Newsletter below.

8th Sept 2018

As promised I am back with a couple of photos.

Update:NOW SOLD! This gorgeous little Red boy is looking for a loving home. He is a super playful and affectionate and he ready to go to his loving forever home.

We also should be able to confirm some news regarding another litter in the very near future so I am excited to see what that brings. Many people are not aware that colours can often be hard to confirm when the kittens are first born. For example Chocolate and Lilac look the same in the first few weeks and if both colours are genetically possible it can take till the kittens are 5 or 6 weeks before anyone can be confident of what colour they are. Obviously genetic testing can give a definitive answer very quickly. For people on our waiting list that are open to ANY colour Sex Combination I can usually help very quickly. Obviously the more specific customers are the longer the wait is likely to be.

I am hoping to attend the NSW Funsraiser Show out at Riverstone next weekend and I am very much looking forward to that. I am hoping to show a lovely litter of kittens I have here at the moment and I also will be taking  a couple of boys along that I have been holding on to and trying to work out which one I might run on for breeding purposes. Hopefully the judges comments at the show will being me some answers. If anyone is interested in meeting breeders and seeing a wide range of different breeds a cat show is a great way to that. I do discourage people from purchasing a kitten driectly from a cat show and believe that going to the breeders home and seeing where are how any kitten you intend to purchase is raised it important. For more Tips on puchasing a kitten please check out our:  Tips for buying a kitten  in the resources Menu to the Left of this page.

Well I have some hungry babies to feed so I had better run for now.

24 July 2018

I am terribly slack and I do apologise for all those that follow our not so regular updates.

We have be so busy with vairous elements here that I have had to let my updates take a back seat. We do have kittens here at the moment and for those people that are open to ANY colour/sex combination I am helping people very quickly. We have a bit of a mixed batch here with Reds, Browns, Brown Tortie, Cream, Blue tortie etc.

I have recently mated another queen and I am hopeful we might produce Chocolates, Blue and Lilacs from her.

I will hopefully be able to get some photos up of babies in the coming weeks  so please check back soon.

15 March 2018

Well the 50th Anniversary Burmese Show was a HUGE success. We were blessed with beautiful blue sky and it was so lovely to see all the members of the public there.

Our judges were just amazing and we certainly had the cream of the crop in that regard.  I was thrilled to catch up with Burmese admirers and Customers both past and future. There were 100 cats entered and over 40 Burmese entered with stunning examples on display so the competition was on!

I was a wee bit excited and very honoured to receive some lovely awards and a huge amount of Prizes from the day including having 3 of the 5 BEST BURMESE IN SHOW (Peter Williams) Burmese Speciality ring with 2 Chocolate Female kittens our our up and coming Stud Boy.

Our Little Zinkia received 1st in Top 5 under Valerie Cashman and a 1st in top 5 under Peter Williams and also took out Eye colour and Shape. Our Lovely Crystal Received BEST OF BREED in her ring under all 4 judges as well as 1st in Top 5 under Peter Williams and finally our Lovely Nero also took out 1st place under all four judges in his ring. At the End of the Day Peter Presented his TOP 5 BURMESE IN SHOW and 3 of the 5 were our Breeding with either my Suchi or my Adara Prefix! I couldn't have been more thrilled! Just a wonderful result! WOW!!!  I entered a cat on behalf of a lovely customer Jem and her lovely desexed boy also did exceptionally well receiving BEST IN SECTIONS under all 4 judges as well as a Top 5 Place under Margaret Sim so credit to the breeders behind the lines of these cats and thanks to all involved for allowing me the honour of working with such truly beautiful cats. I wish to thank all the Breeders behind these lines and particularly wish to mention Zaw Pedroni, Erica Bell (Ricki Dalgleish), Valerie Cashman and Dianne Dolman - Thank you one and all.

Above: Adara Nero and Adara Zinkia with some of the Ribbons we received on the day.

Above: 5  of the Trophies we recived on the day including 3 of only 5 BEST IN SHOW GLASS TROPHIES!

I am now in recovery mode. It was such a big day and the hard work involved paid off in such a successful event.

I have more news to share but it will have to wait for another post another time!
